July 23rd, 2008 - Good Times
Heya -

Got a few cool shows coming up - two with Hellbound Glory, who are a fantastic rockin' country outfit, and one in September with Saviours, who are one of the best new metal bands I've heard in a long, long time.

See ya there.

- Bob

May 19, 2008 - Evanston Freedom Rally & SLC
We're about to hit the road for a few days, heading over to Salt Lake City to rock out with Thunderfist, then playing the next three days in Evanston, WY as part of the Evanston Freedom Rally, a motorcycle rally that I hear is a pretty good time. Friday and Sunday we're doing events as part of the rally, and Saturday we're tearing it up outside of Kate's Bar with Thunderfist.

Hope to meet some folks at our shows!

- Bob

March 18th, 2008 - Built To Burn Back In Stock!
If you have been waiting to get your copy of Built To Burn, you are in luck... we just restocked after selling out of the first run of the album the Westword said 'puts the pedal to the floor'. Yeah buddy. Rock.

Looking forward to getting out on that road again - hope to meet some cool midwest rock n' rollers!

- Bob

March 6th, 2008 - Fu Manchu
Just got confirmation that we're playing tomorrow, March 7th, with Fu Manchu, Saviours and ASG at the Aggie in Ft. Collins. We're pretty stoked to be playing with Otto's favorite band! We go on first, so show up by 9 to see us rock!

- Bob

February 4th, 2008 - Tour
Heya Rockers! Looker is hitting the road for about a week this spring and heading out to the midwest with Teenage Bottlerocket after a couple shows with Harvey Knuckles to promote their new album, 'DENIRO'. Dates are over yonder on the right side of the page >>

We are re-pressing 'Built To Burn', so we should have those with us when we go out. Looking forward to playing the midwest, and doing it with some great bands!

- Bob

November 14th, 2007 - Where have YOU been?
Been a while since I updated. I think it's a sign of MySpace taking over the band website world entirely.

Anyhoo... lots going on with us. We are just about sold out of Built To Burn, but you can buy it on ITunes and several other online retailers (all of which I can't remember, but if you have a favorite, look for it!). I've even got a handy link:

My wife and I cooked up a new kid who made his arrival on Sept. 24th, so that's been keeping me busy. His name is Otto and he's a little rock n' roller. I think his favorite bands so far are the Ramones and Fu Manchu - guess he likes those fuzzed out guitars. He hasn't stopped me from rocking though, and we've got some killer shows lined up for the next few weeks... so we'll see you there!

- Bob

August 3rd, 2007 - Home again, home again
What a summer! I've just been having too much fun to come and update the site. Lots of good music to see, lots of beer to drink... a lot of miles to drive since the last time I posted.

Before I talk about tour - a quick note that we're playing August 14th in Ft. Collins, CO with none other than the Reverend Horton Heat. I've always been a big fan of the Rev and gone to a lot of his shows, so I'm pretty excited about this one. I recommend going to www.aggietheater.com and buying a ticket in advance and saving yourself $15 (which is how much the price is going to jump up if you buy them day of the show).

Tour was great - we met a lot of great folks who took great care of us, saw a lot of great bands, and even got the AC working in the van after a week. I don't recommend touring in July. Everywhere we went everyone told us that we'd arrived just in time for the hottest week they'd had in 10 years. Lucky us. Anyway, thanks to Casey, Colin, Shane and Bryan, Daniel & April, Andy, Tim & Tracy, Titans of Oblivion, Melissa & Rob, The Juvinals, DIEMONSTERDIE, Turbojugend Ft. Collins, and anyone else who booked a show, came to a show, bought some shit, gave us food, gave us a place to sleep and take a shower. Rock.

See you all again soon!

- Bob

June 19th, 2007 - Built To Burn - Preorder!
Built To Burn is done, and will be released to coincide with our upcoming northwest tour! You can preorder the album here and have your copy shipped out as soon as we get it the first week in July! It's full of hot rock n' roll and covered in hot chicks on hot cars, and it's the best damn thing we've ever done. You want this!

- Bob

June 11th, 2007 - Tour & New Recording
We've all but finished our second full length, recorded with Jamie at Module Overload in Denver. We don't have enough good things to say about Jamie and his studio, and I think you are all going to really dig the new album - it's the best thing we've done by a large margin.

We're also heading out on the road in July. We're having a little bit of trouble nailing down a few dates, so if anyone out there can help us out with our missing dates, we would really appreciate the help! Here's what we have:

29 Jun 2007 The Larimer Lounge, Denver CO
30 Jun 2007 Surfside 7 Turbojugend BBQ, Ft. Collins, CO
3 Jul 2007 Old Underground Warehouse w/ The Front, Sheridan, WY
5 Jul 2007 The Loft w/ The Peelers, Missoula, MT
6 Jul 2007 Manette Saloon, Bremerton WA
7 Jul 2007 The Funhouse w/ The Peelers, The Coloffs, Seattle, WA
8 Jul 2007 The Tonic Lounge w/ Titans of Oblivion, Portland, OR
10 Jul 2007 Cotati, CA
11 Jul 2007 Sweet Lou's, San Francisco, CA
12 Jul 2007 Davidson's Distillery Reno, NV
13 Jul 2007 Burt's Tiki Lounge w/ DIEMONSTERDIE Salt Lake City, UT

May 7th, 2007 - Next release, here we come!
We're heading to Module Overload studio in Denver this weekend to start working on our next release... I think it's gonna rock.
We're also booking up dates for our July tour, swinging up through Montana and Washington before heading down to California, Nevada and Utah.
Stay tuned.

- Bob
April 6th, 2007 - Spring is in the air...
Or it should be, anyway... it's kind of cold and snowy today, but I guess that's Laramie for you. We've got some great shows lined up, are hitting the studio May 5th to finish up our EP, and should be hitting the road to come visit all you west coast folks in July. Hell yeah. Now yer caught up.

- Bob
February 27th, 2007 - What is up
Hey rock fans! Been a while, I know. I'm happy to say that we are alive and kickin' and busy lining up all the rock n' roll we can get our greasy little fingers on. We have a bunch of shows lined up for March and April, just had a great time playing with Drag the River a few nights back, and are in the process of getting a west coast tour set up with The Peelers for July. Whew.

On top of all that, we've got a terrific new bass player - our good friend JD has stepped up and fit right in to keep the train rollin'. Hope to see you all soon!

- Bob
January 10th, 2007 - CANCELLATIONS
Hey all -
Just wanted to let everyone know that we've unfortunately been forced to pull out of this weekend's shows in Denver and Ft. Collins.
Looks like the Ft. Collins show is cancelled, but I'd wager the Denver show will carry on without us, so if you get a chance, go see Alcholiday and Red Stinger - have a drink for me!
We'll be back, and hopefully soon!
Take care, and we'll see you next time,

- Bob
January 8th, 2007 - It's a Brand New Year
Howdy rockers. Happy New Year. Hope it's a good one - hope we see you during it!

- Bob
October 3rd, 2006 - Return of the Second Guitar
With my straight job kickin' my ass I haven't had any time to get things updated over here in a while, but I'm back with good news! Come see us this coming Saturday and witness the return of the second guitar. Brandon Schulte, who some of you may remember from the Turbolooker set at the Turbojugend Ft. Collins Steamer, will be joining us on the bass guitar, while Tony will be bringing back the second guitar... and a goldtop at that!

We've got some great shows coming up in Denver, and one for the Laramie folks as well. See you there!

- Bob
August 28th, 2006 - T-Shirts & Charley Horse
Added a show for September 8th up in Laramie at the Grounds with Charley Horse (featuring memebers of Throw Rag & Nashville Pussy/The Hunns) and Jett Black. If you take in one rock n' roll show in town this year... this is the one you don't wanna miss! It'll be one of the few times we'll be taking the stage in our hometown this year, so make sure you are there!

In other news... buy a t-shirt! They've been added to the 'Buy' link. Dig in.

- Bob
August 8th, 2006 - Mudhoney!
Just dropping a quick note with a few important news bits. We will be opening for Mudhoney in Denver at the Larimer on Saturday, September 16th. I've been listening to them since I was in the 10th grade, so to say I'm excited would be an understatement... so... be there!

In sadder news, the Starlight in Ft. Collins has shut down - hopefully not for long! The immediate impact of that is that the Turbojugend party has, I believe, been moved across the street to the Surfside. We hope all of our friends who worked there found jobs making tons of money without too much delay. Good luck guys!

- Bob
July 24, 2006 - Howdy
Been a while, I know... Tony has been out of town for the past few months, so we've been laying low for most of the summer so far... but the boy is back, and all that is going to end here pretty quick! So far we've just got one show scheduled, but we'll be filling out the calendar a bit more now that we're all going to be back.

It just so happens, however, that one show is a monster! Turbojugend Ft. Collins presents the Ft. Collins Steamer is hittin' the bricks on August 12th, and it should be completely out of control. I think we might just have to throw down a few Turbo songs to celebrate.

- Bob
May 28, 2006 - New Photos
Thanks to Alisha and LB for some photos they gave me a while back and I finally got around to uploading!

- Bob
May 12, 2006 - New Site, New T-Shirts, New Recording
First things first - if the site looks *completely* hosed from the last time you were here, hit your refresh button, clear your cache, do a little dance... and it should reload itself with the new layout. If it gives you a hard time, shoot me an email and I'll see what I can do to help you out.

You probably noticed that the entire site has been redone, and if I do say so myself, lookin' mighty sharp. We've had so much going on in the last year that I never had a chance to get it done, but I got a wild hair up my ass yesterday looking at a lineup in the banner image that's exactly a year out of date, so I just got it done. Hope you like it.

If you do like it, and I'm sure you do, we've just gotten in a new batch of T-shirts featuring the new logo featured on the site. We'll be getting them up in the buy section of the site soon, but if you just can't wait to get your hands on them come to a show, or shoot me an email and I'll tell you where to send money.

In other good news, we went and spent a few days tracking songs for both a new 7" and a CD EP that will be coming out later this year, and I think they are sounding great - details on what we did are over on the rock page. We are going to mix them the first part of next month, and once we have them squared away, I'll make sure to give you all a taste.

Rock.

April 12th, 2006 - Sometimes I suck at Updates - CD RELEASE SHOW!
This Friday at the Grounds coffee shop at 10:30 or so... come on down, see the rock, buy the CD, have some fun!

- Bob
April 5th, 2006 - Blacktop Accelerator is OUT
Blacktop Accelerator is here! Time to stock up for the holidays or something - head on over and BUY it!

- Bob
April 3rd, 2006 - CDs
I just heard that our CDs shipped (Hi Kellie), and they could be here for Thursday's show... even more reason to get off your lazy ass and come on down to the Cowboy. It's not even cold out. Stop being pussies.

- Bob
April 3rd, 2006 - Apologies
I owe anyone who went to the 15th Street Tavern last week a big apology for us not being there. I was laid up last week with some of the nastiest flu I've had in years (and I'm still feeling it). We wanted to be there, but in the end had to admit that if I couldn't stand up for more than 5 minutes, we probably weren't going to make it through our set. Hopefully anyone that went had a great time anyway - wish I'd gotten to see those bands!

CDs should be here in the next week or so... unless they come back and tell us it will be July. I'll keep you posted. In other news, we're playing in Laramie this Thursday with Jett Black from Denver, so that should be a great time for the Wyoming folks - see you there! We're also hitting the studio April 15th and 16th to do a 5 song EP that I think you will all enjoy. We'll make sure it gets into your hot little hands a lot more quickly this time!

- Bob
March 15, 2006 - Ft. Collins CD Release... without CDs?
As if this hasn't been a big enough debacle, the CD duplication company dicked us around and now we won't have Blacktop Accelerator for almost two goddamned weeks. So. Hope to see you at the upcoming shows - sorry we won't have CDs for you.

I've also added a few shows, including one I'm extra excited about next week at the 15th Street Tavern with two Japanese bands from Gearhead Records - Gito Gito Hustler and The Spunks. Both are terrific bands, and worth coming out on a Wednesday night!

- Bob
March 15, 2006 - Ft. Collins CD Release Moved
There's been another mix up, and our CD release show in Ft. Collins on the 25th has been moved across the street from the Starlight to the Surfside. So now you can eat pizza while you rock out and get your copy of Blacktop Accelerator. Rock.

- Bob
March 06, 2006 - Photos
I uploaded some photos from our show w/ Bottlerocket - thanks to Alisha for taking them!

Blacktop Accelerator goes out for duplication this week, and our first CD release show is scheduled for March 25th at the Starlight in Ft. Collins - come on out and get your copy!

- Bob
February 12, 2006 - Playing with Teenage Bottlerocket in Ft. Collins
Just added a show in Ft. Collins with our buddies in Teenage Bottlerocket at the Starlight in Ft. Collins, CO - the show should be insane, so make sure you are there!

Also a reminder that we'll be playing the 15th Street Tavern after the WWSRA tradeshow in Denver this Thursday. Reps from Rome, Von Zipper, Adio and Planet Earth will be there giving away free schwag... as if rock n' roll weren't enough to get you out of the house! See ya there.

- Bob

January 31th, 2006 - Upcoming Shows, Blacktop Accelerator Release, New EP!
We just confirmed a last minute show this Thursday, Feb. 2nd in Laramie at the Cowboy Bar, as well as some rockin' on Feb. 16th in Denver with our buddies HOSS and Justin's band Spangler. Details for both are over on the right.

In other news, we've been finalizing the layout for our first full length release, Blacktop Accelerator, and it should be out by mid to late February. And since we gotta keep this train rolling, we'll be heading into the studio in March to record a 5 song EP which we'll have out in late spring.

That's about it for now - see you out!

- Bob
January 27th, 2006 - Show Tonight, 15th Street Tavern
Sorry for the short notice - I thought I'd put this up here a while back. It's been a tough year so far between injuries and other shit, but Looker will be rockin' at the 15th Street Tavern tonight, Friday Jan 27 w/ Slick Pigs Lie (CD release), Black Lamb, and Valio Mierda. We have 20 3 song Blacktop Accelerator promo CDs that we burned and will give out to anyone who wants one at the show tonight. Hope to see you there!

We had hoped to have Blacktop Accelerator ready for this show, but it's not quite done yet, so look for that in the next couple weeks - we'll keep you posted!

- Bob
January 4th, 2006 - Happy New Year - New Pictures
Happy New Year! Hope everyone had a more exciting New Year's than I did... if you went out thinking you were going to see us, sorry to disappoint - we got some wires crossed on the the venue, etc. and things ended up not going through

Thanks a bunch to Alisha Stock who took some great pictures of our show in Laramie last month - I've put them up, so go take a LOOK.

- Bob
December 15th, 2005 - Wednesday, December 14th, Laramie
Thanks to everyone who came out to the show last night - we had a blast, hope you all did too!

If the kid who got chucked out reads this - Tony and I wanted to apologize. You got the short end of the stick because we all got fed some bullshit by someone who we thought was being straight with us and we misread the situation. Looker owes you a beer, buddy - sorry.

We're going to be taking a break for a couple weeks to go see our families, etc., but we are looking forward to the new year, the new album and all that jazz. Later.

- Bob
December 7th, 2005 - Wednesday, December 14th, Laramie
So I've been slackin' on the updates, but... no point in talking your ear off with nothing to say, right? We're going to get in a show with the Rad Bradleys at the Cowboy in Laramie on the 14th, should be all ages, should be damn fun! There should be at least one other band on the bill, but not sure who it's going to be yet - I'll keep you posted.

- Bob
November 2nd, 2005 - Last Vegas Show Cancelled
*Very* unfortunately we were unable to line up a venue for the show this Friday night, the even more unfortunate result being that we won't get to play with The Last Vegas - a terrific rock n' roll band. Hopefully we'll be able to get them back here under better circumstances soon!

Thanks to everyone who came out for the Halloween shows in Laramie and Ft. Collins - we had a blast! You can check out some pictures of TURBOLOOKER and cohorts at the show!

- Bob
October 26, 2005 - New Pictures
Take a LOOK at a few new sets of pictures - finally got a few of Tony up for you ladies to drool over. That's one handsome man.

Thanks to HOSS, 500 Miles to Memphis, and all the folks that came down to get drunk and hear the rock - we had a great time down in Denver last weekend!

- Bob
October 19, 2005 - Upcoming Shows
Got a bunch of shows coming up in the next couple of weeks, including a couple trips down to Denver where we haven't had a chance to do much rockin' for a while. Check the dates on the right. Hope to see you there!

- Bob
September 12, 2005 - The Post-Show Report
Thanks to everyone who came out to the Buck on Saturday and had some good clean fun. It only takes one asshole to ruin a show, and it was great that most of the folks there didn't let a couple of 'em slow you down. Sorry that things came to such an abrupt end, but a little electronic first aid later it looks like we came out the other end with guitars and amps in working order. Hope to see a great turnout there when we're back this Friday!

Also, for our Colorado friends, don't forget to mark your calendars for this Wednesday, when we hit the Surfside with HOSS!

- Bob
September 7, 2005 - Upcoming Dates
We've got a few dates coming up in the next couple weeks. Sounds like we're having venue trouble for the show on the 10th, so it might not happen, but in case it does, I'm getting the word out now.

- Bob
August 13, 2005 - Last Call at the Hickey House
Don't miss the last show at the Hickey House on 2nd and Custer tonight. End of an era and all that shit - see you there!

- Bob
August 3, 2005 - Show
Heya - Looker is getting back in the game after a couple months off with a show this Friday Aug. 5th at the Buckhorn Bar with the Wednesdays. There is a show going on starting at 7pm at the Cowboy that night, then the fun keeps rolling at the Buckhorn at 9pm. Rock!

- Bob
June 3, 2005 - Things
Quick note that I uploaded some terrific photos from our friend Scott Badham. Thanks Scott! Take a LOOK.

- Bob
June 2, 2005 - Things
Uploaded a couple new tunes on the ROCK page, and an update on our long overdue debut album.

Ray is gone on a long summer of overseas work and rockin' with Teenage Bottlerocket. They are hitting most of the US in July and August, so head over to their site for dates and be sure to check them out when they hit your scene. Tony Frost will be filling in on bass while Ray is gone - he's a terrific bass player and you should see us playing out again before too long.

- Bob
May 11, 2005 - See You Tonight!
Looks like we'll get one more show out of Ray after all. Hope to see you all tonight!

- Bob
May 3, 2005 - New Show, See Looker as a 3 piece!
With Ray out of town, we'll be playing at least one show as a 3 piece. Historic! Details on the right.

- Bob
April 26, 2005 - Thanks
Thanks to the folks who came out to UW for our set on Saturday - We had appreciate it! Sorry that my voice was half gone!

Looks like we've got one more thing coming up before the end of the school year, so all you educated folks can get one last night alone with us if you are going elsewhere for the summer. It looks like we'll be losing Ray for a few months as well while he's off in the Middle East and Europe, but we might have a few things to keep you entertained in the meantime!

- Bob
April 22, 2005 - SHOW TIME CHANGE
It appears that we are now playing tomorrow, 4/23, at FOUR pm instead of six. Apologies to anyone who wanted to see us last Wed. in Denver, we got socked with a major blizzard and were unable to travel, but we hope to get a chance to come play the Cherry Pit again soon - we've heard good things!

- Bob

April 11, 2005 - New Show at UW
