March 1, 2005 - Show Saturday, New Guestbook
Hey rockers. We had a great time this past weekend - thanks to everyone who came
out and didn't stop me from working on my hangover - hope you had fun!
A reminder to the Colorado rock fans that we'll be playing this Saturday in
Ft. Collins at the Starlight with Jucifer, Core of the Earth, and Buried Inside.
In other news, I've finally taken the time to finish our non-crappy guestbook. So
don't run in terror anymore!

February 21, 2005 - Shows
Hey rock n' rollers! Couple new shows up - hope to see y'all there somewhere.
I've completed the move up to Laramie, so hopefully Looker will be rockin' you a
lot harder and a lot more often in the future. It's a little colder up here, but
we're liking being back so far.
You should also head over to Teenage Bottlerocket's site and check out a couple tracks from our own Ray and Co.'s soon-to-be-released new record on Red Scare. It's some good punk rock. Shake your ass.

January 16, 2005 - I'm a Lazy Man
Okay, so I've been slackin' off and keeping this updated, but hey, I've been busy! The wife and I
will be moving up to Laramie in stages over the end of January and starting new jobs, etc., which is
exciting and busy for us, and exciting for the rest of you as it will make it a whole lot easier for
Looker to churn out that rock n' roll.
In a late recap - we had a great time in November in Ft. Collins, playing with the Dwarves and the Last Vegas.
You already know that the Dwarves are great, but if you haven't had a chance to hear, or better yet to see
The Last Vegas yet, you should make the time - they are a really great rock n' roll band! We hope to see them out this way again soon!
That's about it - we were thrilled to have The Starlight open back up in Ft. Collins, and we'll be playing our first show in a few months there on January 27th with
Little Darlings and Smile And a Shoe String, so come on out if you are in the neighborhood - it
should be a real good time.
Hope the new year is treating you well, hope it's a good one for you and yours.

November 1, 2004 - The Dwarves, The Last Vegas, Recordings
Thanks to all the folks who came out Saturday, we had a great time, and it looked like all of you did too, so... thanks, hope it was fun!
In some news we're pretty excited about, we've just lined up a pair of great shows in November, which will also have us back in Ft. Collins after
being gone for far too long. The first is Thursday, November 18th at the Aggie Theater with The Dwarves.
I've been a fan for a long time, and I'm looking forward to it. That same week on Sunday the 21st we'll be playing in Ft. Collins again at the Surfside with
The Last Vegas, a terrific rock n' roll band that Nate from Blackstrip Sonic turned me on to a few
months ago - and I've been wishing I'd heard of them sooner ever since. Both shows should be terrific, so come to see Looker, come to see
The Dwarves, come to see The Last Vegas, but
come to see something!
In 'Yeah, sure you are' news, it looks like we're trying to hit the studio to finish up Blacktop Accelerator a week from today!

October 30, 2004 - Rockin' w/ the Playboys Report Card
We had a great time with The International Playboys this past week. Probably
had a bit too much fun, saw and played some great rock n' roll, and watched Joe order the most screwed up Chicken Fried Steak I've ever seen. The Playboys put
on a great show, and I really recommend heading over to their site and getting yourself a copy of their new album 'Sexiful' - good shit. Thanks to our friends
in the Playboys, and to our friends and fans who came out on a Monday and Tuesday night for some rockin'.
In other news, I've added some recent photos to the LOOK page. It looks like we'll be playing on November 21st in Laramie with
The Last Vegas, who you should check out if you haven't heard 'em before, because they kick a whole
lot of ass. I'll keep y'all updated when I get confirmation.
Hope to see some folks out tonight at the Parlor for the Halloween show for drunk adults!
- Bob
September 29, 2004 - Rockin' w/ the Playboys/New Tunes
Added a few shows in with our friends The International Playboys
out of Missoula, MT. They are great guys and a terrificly rockin' live band - check it out.
I've also tossed a tasty six pack of new tunes up on the ROCK page, and given y'all an update on our upcoming
full length, so head over and check that out.
- Bob
September 29, 2004 - Zeke Show Cancelled
Sadly, the show with Zeke for tonight has been cancelled due to Zeke running into trouble with their tour van and
being unable to make it to the show. Sorry for the short notice - just found out ourselves.
- Bob
September 23, 2004 - Shows
Thanks to the people who came and saw us on no notice last week on campus at UW - we had a good time, and were
thrilled to have people we hadn't seen at shows before showing up.
In other news, looks like we'll be playing with ZEKE on
Wednesday, September 29th at Fat Daddy's (or whatever it is called this week) at 3rd and Grand in Laramie.
If you haven't seen or heard Zeke, this is your chance to see one of the best rock n' roll bands anywhere today.
If you have seen or heard them before, I'll just assume we'll see you there.
- Bob
September 2, 2004 - Slacker
Man... I've been slackin' off bad keeping folks updated, but we've had a slow couple months with Ray on tour
with Teenage Bottlerocket for most of August.
As for me, I've been sitting around being undermployed for the last couple weeks - which was nice for the first
one but has at this point gotten a bit... boring. Anyway, we should be shaking that up in the near future.
As a move in that direction, Looker will return to the stage this coming Saturday at Fat Daddy's in Laramie
for a show with Wadsworth. Should be a good time.
See you there!
- Bob
July 8, 2004 - Upcoming Shows
Okay, I've been slackin' off on keeping you folks informed, so here's the scoop.
Got three shows coming up July 16th, 17th and 18th in Laramie and Denver - check the information over
there on the right. Also looks like we'll be playing on the Brant Bjork show
in September - more details on that when everything is confirmed.
We're hoping to get into the studio to finish some things up later this month if
schedules allow. That's about that for now... See y'all at the show!
- Bob
May 24, 2004 - Two New Shows, One New Tune to Download!
We've confirmed two shows coming up. The first is short notice - this Thursday at 8:30pm at Fat Daddy's on
3rd Street in Laramie. The second is June 21st at the Starlight with Alabama Thunderpussy and Rwake, which should
be an awesome show.
In other news, we're working through our recent recording and figuring out exactly what we're going to do with it. In the meantime, I've uploaded a brand spanking new pop masterpiece called 'Nineteen & Available' that you can go and download
and listen to over on the ROCK page.
Hope to see some folks this week up in Laramie, or next month in Ft. Collins... or sometime in between.
- Bob
May 11, 2004 - Recording Photos
Just uploaded some pictures from our recording session last week. Go take a LOOK. We're
planning on putting some finishing touches on our recording, get it mixed, and get it out to y'all, so stay
tuned!
- Bob
May 4, 2004 - Recording & T-shirts
Allright, so I've been pretty bad about getting in here and letting you folks know what we're up to, so I'll
try and remedy that.
We spent this past Sunday at Motaland with Bart McCrorey
and knocked out 10 songs in about 12 hours. It was a monster session, but I think we've got some good stuff
out of it, and we'll try to get that mixed up and released as soon as we can. We were tired, but we had a good
time, and Bart kept things moving smoothly, so a big thanks to him.
T-shirts are done, and we'll try to get pictures of all of them up as soon as possible. The first run has been
selling pretty quickly, so availability will vary, but if want one, drop me an email, or if you are in Laramie
Drop by Actionball Boardsports in between 2nd and 3rd on Grand and pick one up from Justin. All T's are 100%
cotton and come in Red w/ Yellow & Black logo (S/M), Blue w/ Lime & White logo (M/L) and black w/ Lime & White
logo (L/XL). The logo is like the one on the top right of this site with a thick border around the name. They
look pretty damn sharp.

March 31, 2004 - Update
We had a great rock n' roll weekend down in Denver w/ Brandt Bjork & the Bros, Lion Fever,
and 1/2 of Zero on Thursday, then up in Laramie on Friday with Black Strip Sonic. Met some
great folks (those fellers in Black Strip Sonic are some good fellers!), and heard some great
rock n' roll. Thanks to everyone who came out, we had a great time!
No shows for now - we're looking to get our recording tunes practiced up and recorded. To tide y'all over, I've put up
a new version of Right Back Drinkin' that reflects the way we are playing it live now, and a new
tune that you might've heard this past weekend if you were at our shows, In It For The Money. Head over to
the ROCK page to download 'em.

March 22, 2004 - So... Anyone Hiring?
The 'man' has up and done with me... Got the word that I've been outsourced to India, so if anyone is looking
for, or knows anyone looking for, ASP/VBS/SQL/Graphics guys in SE Wyoming or northern Colorado, please feel
free to contact me and give me a tip.
In less depressing news, we've got a full weekend coming up with shows Thursday and Friday in Denver and
Laramie, so check the details over to the right, and hope to see some folks make it down for some rockin',
drinkin', and commiseratin'.
- Bob
March 12, 2004 - Looker New Site
Hey, what the hell happened here? Uploaded a new site. It has a few more bits to it - most of which are going to take some time to get fleshed out... but they are there, right? Give us a shout if we screwed something up... or if you just want to say 'Hey!'
- Bob
March 4, 2004 - Looker News
Well, that whole weather went and kept us all snowed in last Sunday, so apologies to anyone who went down to the Starlight
hoping to hear some Looker. Rest assured, we'll be back as soon as we can.
T-shirts should be finished this week, and it looks like we're hoping to hit the studio March 20th - as a result we won't be playing
any shows until the end of March so that we can work on the stuff we want to record. I'll keep y'all posted.
- Bob
February 24, 2004 - Looker News
Quick note - we've got a show this Sunday in Ft. Collins at the Starlight with Against Me, Lucero, and Grabass Charlestons. Should be a
fun time, so come on down.
In other news, I think we should have some stylish as hell Looker t-shirts in time for the show, so you can all get prettied up while
showing everyone your favorite rock n' roll band.
Now, that Looker-wear won't do you a whole lot of good without something to listen to, so we're going to try and get into the studio
a couple weeks from now and get together a 4 song 7"/CD that we'll hopefully have all finished up and out to y'all before too long - I'll
keep y'all posted as that develops.
That's about it for now - take care.
- Bob
February 6, 2004 - Show Tonight
I'm a little late in updating the site, but just a quick reminder that we're playing tonight in Denver (weather permitting!) at
the Larimer Lounge with The Geds and Runner & the Thermodynamics. Should be fun - I'm looking forward to checking
out the Larimer. You can get the details over on the the SHOWS page. The Larimer website has the show
starting at 9pm, and we're playing first, but I think it will probably be a little later than that.
In other news, we had a terrific rock n' roll weekend a couple weeks ago, playing two shows with The Bastard Squad in Laramie and Denver.
We're starting to talk about trying to get into the studio in the next month or so to put down a few of the older tracks for a 4 song
7"/CD release this spring, so keep an eye out for that, as well as for some stylish Looker merchandise!
Final note, looks like we're confirmed for Thursday, March 25th with Brandt Bjork & The Bros at the Larimer, and playing
a Leap Day (Sunday, Feb. 29) show in Ft. Collins at the Starlight with Against Me, Lucero, and Grabass Charlestons,
so check back for more details on those shows.

January 19, 2004 - 1/16/04 Recap, Photos, March Show
We had a great time playing a huge show last friday with Hoss, The Nobodys, Armchair Martian, and
Kneejerk Reaction. A ton of people came out, and we had a terrific time. Highlights for me were (well, other
than playing!) Hoss & The Nobodys - two terrific, rockin' bands. Also got to meet some real nice folks from Ft. Collins.
We've got some pictures from the show up thanks to Jason Vallery - Thanks Jason!
Happy Birthday Chip!
A reminder that we're playing two shows this coming weekend - Laramie on the 23rd, and Denver on the 24th. Head over to
the SHOWS page to get the details - hope to see y'all one place or the other!
In other news, looks like we'll be playing March 25th at the Larimer with Brandt Bjork's band - should be a great
show, so keep your calendar clear! I'll post more details as I get them.
- Bob
January 5, 2004 - New Tune - This Town
Whipped this demo for This Town out last night... I think it's pretty rockin', so head on over to the
ROCK page and give it a listen.
- Bob
January 5, 2004 - New Shows
Ft. Collins folks - we'll be playing Chip's birthday party at The Starlight
on Friday January 16th with The Nobodys, Armchair Martian, and our buddies in Hoss (who I heard kicked some ass up
in Laramie this past weekend). Should be a really good time, so come on down!
We've also added a show in Denver at the Larimer Lounge with The Geds and Runner & The Thermodynamics
on Friday, February 6th.
I've also heard that Scott got some great pictures from our show last month at the Parlor in Laramie, so as soon as the
weather cooperates long enough for me to get up to Laramie again (maybe we'll do some of that practicin' stuff too) I'll
grab hold of those and get them uploaded for y'all to check out.
- Bob
January 2, 2004 - A New Year, New Shows
Happy New Year! We're looking forward to a year full of rock n' roll, and we suspect that the
rest of you are as well.
On that note - we've added our first two shows of the year to the shows page - both the weekend
of January 23rd/24th. Friday night (1/23) our buddies in The Bastard Squad
will be joining us at the Parlor in Laramie (upstairs from the Buckhorn) for a night of ass
kickin' rock n' roll. We'll probably see one more band on the bill... but as of now, not sure
who that will be. The next night (1/24) we'll be heading down to Denver to play with the Squad
again, as well as The Hacks and Hervis at the Hogbutler Warehouse. Never been there
myself, but I hear it's a pretty good time - I'll get an address up for that show as soon as
I can find the piece of paper I wrote it down on.
Good luck to you and your's in the new year, and hope to see you out rockin' at the next Looker show!
- Bob
December 15, 2003 - Weekend Recap
We just came off of a terrific rock weekend!
Friday night we played in Laramie at the Parlor (22 stairs... ugh!), and as always, had an ass kickin' Laramie
turnout, and a heap of Denver punk rock in the form of The Gamits and Love Me Destroyer. I can't be sure,
but I think that maybe a few people were drinkin' a little bit of booze, and the evening was capped off with some
ladies fisticuffin' in the restroom. But I think they were friends in the end, there wasn't anything that some rock
n' roll couldn't fix, and it looked like folks had a real nice time. I met a lot of nice people who are into rock
n' roll and liked what Looker had for 'em - can't ask for more. Thanks for comin' out! Scott took an insane number
of photos at the show, and as soon as we can, we'll get those up for y'all to take a look at.
Saturday found us in Denver, where we had another great show with a couple of terrific Denver bands,
The Bastard Squad and Valio Mierda. The 15th Street
Tavern is a great little bar, and it had a lot of great folks in it (and the best light show in town).
We hope to get back down there again before to long and do it again (but I gotta find a better place to park!) Big
thanks to Jurgen Bank for coming out to the show and getting some great pictures of the band (in color, no less!) Shoot on over to the
LOOK page and check 'em out!
We actually don't have any shows lined up at the moment (aside from making sure to check out the guys in Hoss in Laramie
on Jan. 2nd), but I'm sure that will, as always, quickly change. Check back to see what is going on next!
- Bob
December 8, 2003 - Upcoming Shows
First off, thanks to all the folks who came out and rocked out at the Starlight on Saturday. We had a great time
playing, and a great time checking out The Things They Carry and Hoss, who are just a flat out
kick-ass rock n' roll band! We hope to get a chance to play with these guys again soon!
We've got two shows coming up this weekend - Friday in Laramie at the Parlor above the Buckhorn in between 1st and 2nd
on Ivinson in Laramie (not at Fat Daddy's as we previously thought). This show is 21+, and we'll be rockin' with
The Gamits and Love Me Destroyer. Saturday night we'll be playing in Denver for the first time with
Bastard Squad and Valio Mierda at the 15th Street Tavern on 15th and Welton. Should be a good time,
and a chance for you Denver folks to check out some badassed rock n' roll.
- Bob
December 6, 2003 - Show Tonight, Ft. Collins - The Starlight
Short notice, but we didn't find out for sure until today either. Come on down and see us, along with
The Things They Carry and Hoss.
- Bob
November 20, 2003 - Dec. 12 confirmed with The Gamits, Laramie
Confirmed that we're playing the 12th in Laramie at Fat Daddy's with The Gamits and Love Me Destoyer.
Thanks to the folks who came out to the show at the Starlight last night.
- Bob
November 19, 2003 - More Helloween Pictures
Got some terrific shots from Scott who was snapping photos at the Halloween show in Laramie. Head on over and
take a LOOK.
Also, I believe we may actually be playing in Laramie with the Gamits on December 12th instead of in Boulder,
but I don't know exactly - need to check in with Justin at the show tonight, and let y'all know.
Hope to see some folks out at the Starlight tonight!
- Bob
November 15, 2003 - New Show, Wednesday, Nov. 19th, The Starlight
w/ Rise Against, Visqueen, Defiance of Authority
Confirmed the 19th of November (next Wednesday) at the Starlight with Rise Against, Visqueen, and
Defiance of Authority. Things should kick off around 10pm, and Looker is playing 2nd. Should be a
fun mid-week break for all you rock n' rollers.
It is also looking like we'll be playing with Jucifer
in Boulder at Club 156 on December 12th (the night before we play Denver at 15th Street), but I need
to confirm that and get the details up for y'all.
Hope to see some folks on Wednesday!
- Bob
November 12, 2003 - Cancellation
Just a quick note that we won't be playing the December 1st show with Mondo Generator (boo!). We
were the third band on the bill, and they've apparently brought a band on tour with them. No worries,
looks like we're firming up a few other shows in the area - I'll keep y'all posted.
- Bob
November 10, 2003 - New Download - "Blacktop Accelerator"
Just posted the demo for our newest tune "Blacktop Accelerator", which some of you may have heard if
you were at the show on Halloween. I've only got the high quality version up right now, and it is a bit
large, but I'll try to get a 128kbps version put up in the next day or two for you slowpokes. Keep
a' rockin'!
- Bob
November 4, 2003 - Halloween Show Pictures up
I posted some pictures from our show on Halloween. A lot of thanks goes to Matt McGee for taking
pictures for us - they turned out great. Go take a LOOK.
- Bob
November 1, 2003 - Halloween Show Recap & New Show w/ Mondo Generator - December 1st, Larimer Lounge, Denver
Thanks to everyone who came out last night to the Parlor in Laramie for a great night of rock n' roll (and a lot of
stair climbin' for the bands!) Great to see that shitty weather can't stop that town from goin' out and
rockin' out. Thanks also to Teenage Bottlerocket, Dreaded Rear Admiral, and Fighting Weather - great to be part
of such a killer lineup. (By the way, TB released their full length, Another Way yesterday -
drop by their site and pick up a copy!) Thanks to Matt & Scott we should have some great photos from
the show, and we'll get those posted as soon as we get them developed.
In other news, we've added a show for December 1st at the Larimer Lounge with Commerce City's
Black Lamb, and
Mondo Generator, Nick Oliveri from Queens of the Stone
Age's other band with the ass kickin' Brant Bjork. Not to be missed, come check em' both out, and maybe
catch a peek at Looker while you are there!
- Bob
October 20, 2003 - Halloween Lineup Confirmed & Show Confirmed - December 13th, 15th Street Tavern, Denver
Just got confirmation of the lineup for the Halloween Show -
Teenage Bottlerocket, Dreaded Rear Admiral and Fighting Weather.
Got confirmation from Bastard Squad that our 15th Street show is Saturday the 13th of December. Also on the bill
are Bastard Squad and Valio Mierda. Hope to see you there!
- Bob
October 20, 2003 - New Tune, New Message Board
Put up a demo of a recent tune, "One Minute", on the ROCK page.
Give it a listen!
I've also put up a message board/guest book
where you can say Hi, comment on any of the rock n' roll, or ask about shows... whatever you want.
Be sure to leave your name so we know who you are!
- Bob
October 16, 2003 - Welcome to the Looker website!
Today marks the launch of the Looker website. Take a look around, maybe listen
to a couple of tunes, see a few pictures, and check our upcoming shows. We're
confirmed for the 31st of October (Halloween!) in Laramie.
I believe we are playing at the Parlor, upstairs from the Buckhorn on Ivinson Street and 1st. As soon as I get confirmation on the full lineup for the show, I'll post that news here.
Couple other shows coming up, on what I think is the 6th of December at the 15th
Street Tavern in Denver, though it may be the following Saturday. I think we're on
the bill with some old Laramie friends (and bandmates) in Bastard Squad, so you
Coloradans keep an eye out for that.
I've put up some demo tracks that only give you a taste of what Looker is all about
since they are missing the whole band, and are mainly just practice aids to help us
overcome the 120 miles I need to drive to practice with the boys. But, they sound
OK, and might be enough to hook you into coming out and seeing the real deal at
one of our shows.
I've also posted some pictures from our first show up in Laramie last month. As you
can see from the photos, we had a great turnout (on a Sunday, even!), and folks
seemed to have a real nice time. Thanks to everyone who came out and checked us, Dorgan Owner and Angus Scrim out, and thanks to Fat Daddy's in Laramie for giving
us all a place to play.
Hope you enjoy the site, and more importantly, hope to see you out there rockin'!
- Bob
